catch up time

for all of you who are tired of seeing the same old post here for weeks on end, my goal for september is a modified version of brendan's old daily post goal. except i'm not quite that motivated, so i'm going to post something new at least twice a week for the month of september.

since it's the 7th, i'm a bit behind, but i can report that i've updated flickr as far as the end of july, ok, actually to the end of the BBQ at rich and amy's but not including cruiser's pictures.

those are coming.

as far as everything else..... i've managed to get some of my research to work at school. yay for hiding out!

what i'm really excited about, however, is my topic for my class this fall. the course is ecology of vector-borne disease, the topic is west nile virus....with a twist. it's not always transmitted by mosquitos. i'll post exerpts of the presentation (1 hour powerpoint) when i'm finished at the end of the month.

in other news, elliot is doing well....getting bigger and definitely more naughty.
