drinks at mcsorley's this is no joke, there are about 8 beers in front of us, and yes, they are all for dave and me. you order either light or dark and they come 2 at a time. i ordered the first round (1 each) and suddenly, 4 beers appeared! dinner was cheese and crackers, followed by either a shrimp salad sandwich (mine and absolutely delicious, Tom our waiter was right on) or a burger with cheese (dave). tables are shared according to how many people want to sit, so we had 2 ex-NYC'ers at ours and a nice group of Korean kids who were dipping crackers in the dark beer. one of the ex-NYC'ers had been coming to McSorley's since she was in high school and used to hang in Hell's Kitchen with her cousins in the 80's. they were awesome, loved the stories, loved the beer (even the dark!) and loved the saloon.
