the beginning had the normal warning signs...light lightning, ever darkening skies and rumbles of thunder. but i figured i could beat it, short run...25 mins, no prob!
wrong.
the heavens opened up. and it kept coming. i hopped over flooding gutters and the nice people at the sub shop gave me a plastic baggie to protect my cell phone (i was hoping it was still live!), i altered my route home...it needed to be shorter and i needed to avoid knee deep water. and then i finally got home, squished upstairs and observed the damage.
i looked like an eight year old that just got off the log flume at busch gardens. soaked, doesn't adequately cover it!
it was at this point i finally realized why i was still in school.....too stupid to read the signs and get out. so now i'm running thru the rain trying to finish :)
