i've been a fan of ambient music for a couple of years now, generally i'd describe my taste as classical meets 21th century. this includes bands like mono, mogwai, explosions in the sky etc. i also really like harder ambient music like the fucking champs. two days ago i heard midnight syndicate for the 1st time, i keep listening to "blackest rose" from their album vampyre. as alluded to in the name, they describe their music as the ambient stuff of gothic night nightmares (ok, their site said ambient gothic nightmare, i added a bit). just listen, there's no video thankfully.
